Valentine’s Day is that special time of year where you show your one true love how special they are. If you’ve decided to pop the question on this special lover’s holiday, sharing your magic with everyone via a Valentine’s Day WordPress theme adds that special touch.
Below, you will find my favorite Valentine’s Day WordPress themes I’ve found for 2013. Some aren’t specifically Valentine’s Day themes but they do stay in line with the color scheme or can be easily ported to what you need by adding graphics such as hearts, flowers, chocolates, and other candies to the theme’s background.
RedLight Theme
This isn’t specifically a Valentine’s Day theme, however, the color scheme certainly can be used as one. Just add a few well-placed hearts, flowers, and chocolates to the theme’s background and you have yourself an elegant Valentine’s Day theme that is sure to please.
This theme comes with many features including ad widgets, drop down menu, automatic thumbnails, and more.
Bouquet WordPress Theme
I liked this theme for the simplicity. It’s well designed and available directly from the WordPress.org directory which likely means the theme is clean and free of junk links and other issues. This theme features a floral theme with a responsive layout, right sidebar, and supports post formats, custom backgrounds, and a custom header.

Valentine’s Day Love
Share your love of chocolate with this Valentine’s Day WordPress theme. This is a two column theme with categories on the left. The calendar widget appears out of alignment, however, the other elements below it are fine for use.
TheFloral WordPress Theme
This is another simple floral design that I thought was subtle and elegant for use during the Valentine’s Day season. The theme is compatible with 3.5.1 and is widget ready, includes social icons, and allows for a featured video. The down side is the theme includes footer links unless you purchase for $29.95.
Valentine Blog 2.0
This is a simple Valentine’s Day WordPress theme that includes a “Love Hurts” heart image and features the traditional red Valentine’ Day colors. The navigation separators include hearts and an overall elegant theme.
